Position Summary

As Automation Engineer, you will ensure the proper operation of automation equipment in process lines and utility equipment within an R&D environment, and you will be involved in multiple innovative automation projects working with new technologies.

A Day in the Life of Automation Engineer
- Support and trouble shooting in automation for trials and commercial production
- Implementation of improvements in process automation on lines for trials and production
- Project management in investment projects related to automation equipment
- Implementation of change requests in cooperation with the production team
What will make you successful
- Bachelor or Master in automation engineering (HF or FH) or equivalent education
- Experience in process automation (preferably in food industry)
- Good knowledge in PLC programming (Rockwell preferred)
- Good knowledge in visualization (ideally AVEVA System Platform)
- High analytical skills for problem solving
- Teamplayer with good communication skills
- Fluent German and English speaking
